Born in Teluk Intan, Perak, my wife and I do not have the family background and connections needed to be successful. We earned a meagre income. We harboured dreams but they were nothing more than castles in the air, until I was introduced to Amway when I was 20 years old and it has transformed my life ever since.

I believe everyone in this world shares a common dream, we want both ourselves and our family to live a better life. That was the reason I put in all my effort to start from scratch and become successful in my Amway business.

During the early days of building my business, I was rejected and given the cold shoulder very often. Yet I knew that in order to achieve what I desire tomorrow, I must give my best today. So I became fully committed in growing my business until I qualified as Founders Emerald.

In 2008, I was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease. According to the doctor, I was no longer physically fit to drive and work. My condition stopped me from going places to share about Amway, but thanks to my passion and dedication, I still managed to follow up with my business associates and connect with other team members through my phone.

It’s been 15 years now, I’m still being rewarded by Amway, including the monthly incentives, the annual bonuses and invitation to the Amway Leadership Seminar every year. We truly enjoy the financial security and absolute freedom offered by Amway.

We’ve been working hard to realise our dream to become Diamonds. During a family gathering, we set a common goal to achieve it with the support of my family members. We managed to qualify as Diamonds in April 2023.

Hard times will not last forever; only the strong will survive them. I would like to extend my profound gratitude to all our friends who have been encouraging us during our entire journey towards the Diamond pin.
