I was a senior executive at a major bank in Singapore, while my wife was a quality assurance manager. Yet no matter how much we earned, it couldn't buy us time.

I signed up with Amway to support a friend. To my surprise, the products helped resolve my skin issue. However, I didn't take the business seriously until I met my wife. Her belief and conviction ignited my imagination and awakened a deep longing for a life of freedom.

When we started, we faced scepticism and rejection. Our closest family members couldn't understand why we would give up such ‘stable careers’. But we knew that, if you're willing to take one extra step for your dreams, the world will eventually open a path for you.

That same year, we had a child. With that came greater responsibility, and greater challenges. Once, after returning from a business trip, our daughter hugged my wife and cried, "Mommy, please don't go to another Amway event." Our hearts broke, but it also deepened our resolve: we must succeed before our parents grow old, and before our child grows up.

During the pandemic, I was laid off and my wife's salary was cut. Fortunately, Amway became our anchor. We realised that, behind every crisis lies an opportunity; behind every conviction lies the seed of a miracle.

I recommended an air purifier to a colleague who had long suffered from sinus issues. He brushed it off. When he and his wife visited our home, she became intrigued, and bought one the very next day. After using it, his symptoms improved. Within a year, they purchased three units. Don’t stop at the first no, sometimes, we just haven't met the right buyer.

What began as ‘an extra source of income’ has now become our life’s mission. Our next goal: to mentor more young leaders and be invited for the Amway Leadership Seminar together!
