When Amway introduced the BodyKey Gut Reset Weight Management Programme, I was one of the early adopters, and we’ve since built multiple healthy communities to help others achieve their health & wellbeing goals.

My husband and I were from the healthcare industry. I was a trained nurse for 13 years, while my husband was a Community Development Assistant, helping underprivileged patients at the Social Work Department in Hospital Klang. Life was challenging with long shifts, limited time off, and insufficient income to support our growing family.

In July 2018, I received my first cheque for RM18.75 after buying an electrical appliance from Amway. This opened my eyes to Amway’s potential. Encouraged by my elder sister, Noorhaizumi, I decided to explore this opportunity further.

Initially, my husband was highly sceptical of it. I showed him my monthly bank statements where my Amway bonuses were credited. By October 2020, I decided to focus on Amway fulltime. Over time, my husband had a change of heart and left his job to build our Amway business together in November 2021.

The journey hasn’t been without its challenges. In 2021, I rapidly gained weight and hit 70kg. I decided to try Nutrilite supplements while adopting a healthier lifestyle. I lost 12kg, which helped me conceive our second child after a five-year wait.

I shared my weightloss journey on social media, inspiring many others to try Nutrilite supplements. When Amway introduced the BodyKey Gut Reset Weight Management Programme, I was one of the early adopters, and we’ve since built multiple healthy communities to help others achieve their health & wellbeing goals.

Our philosophy for success is persistence. I used to feel anxious speaking in front of crowds, but today, I stand on stage with confidence, eager to share my story. We meet our team and downlines regularly for discussions and to provide coaching. This drives us to keep aiming for the next level of achievement, thanks to the incredible atmosphere and motivation created by our team.

Amway has afforded us many comforts, including a family car and a spacious home. However, the greatest reward is knowing that our Amway business can be passed down to our children and grandchildren. The business has also given us a life of freedom that allows us to spend more time with our family and watch our children grow up.

The potential for this business is great in Malaysia, where many people suffer from non-communicable diseases. They need our products and services, and we’ll continue to raise awareness for Nutrilite’s programmes to help more people lead healthier lives.

My advice for ABOs is to stay consistent and persevere in your Amway journey. Don’t look back, push through the obstacles and keep going — your success will change their minds. If you’re new to Amway, give it a try. Focus on learning at the beginning, then build your business your way. Don’t let this opportunity pass you by.
